Rockledge Animal Clinic’s veterinarians perform many types of surgery, both soft tissue and orthopedic, on cats and dogs. Typically, prior to the surgery several pre-operative tests are performed including but not limited to complete blood count, serum chemistry, and clotting factors. Most surgeries require the dog or cat to be placed under general anesthesia to induce complete unconsciousness and relaxation.
